Description
ASHOKA Methi Paratha is a ready-to-cook frozen paratha made with fenugreek (methi) and wheat flour. Here’s how you can prepare it:
Method 1: Shallow Fry (Recommended)
Heat the Pan – Place a non-stick or cast-iron tawa/pan on medium heat.
Add Oil/Ghee – Lightly grease the pan with oil or ghee (optional, as the paratha contains oil).
Cook Frozen Paratha – Take the frozen paratha directly from the pack (no need to thaw) and place it on the pan.
Flip Occasionally – Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
Press Gently – Press lightly with a spatula for even cooking.
Serve Hot – Once both sides are crispy and golden, remove from the pan and serve hot with curd, pickle, or chutney.
Method 2: Deep Fry (For Crispy Texture)
Heat Oil – Heat sufficient oil in a deep pan on medium flame.
Fry Frozen Paratha – Place the frozen paratha directly into the hot oil.
Fry Until Golden – Cook for about 1-2 minutes on each side until crispy and golden brown.
Drain Excess Oil – Remove and place on a paper towel to absorb excess oil.
Serve Hot – Enjoy with your favorite side dishes.
