Robertsons Chicken Spice is a specially crafted blend of herbs, spices, and other flavorings produced to effortlessly create a classic, savory, and aromatic chicken dish. Salt, Maize Flour, Flavourings (Wheat, Soy), Vegetable Fat Powder (Antioxidant (E319)), Onion Powder, Spices (Including Paprika, Pepper), Garlic Powder, Colour (E150c), Yeast Extract, Herb (Oregano), Anticaking Agent (E341), Flavour Enhancer (Monosodium Glutamate), Emulsifier (E451).

Usage Suggestions

As a Rub: For the best results, generously sprinkle the spice mix onto raw chicken pieces (with or without the skin), whole chicken, or fillets. Rub it in thoroughly to ensure an even coating. For deeper flavor, let it marinate for 30 minutes to a few hours in the refrigerator before cooking.

For Roasting: Coat a whole chicken or chicken pieces with the spice, a little oil, and lemon juice. Roast in the oven until golden brown and cooked through.

For Braai (BBQ)/Grilling: A heavily seasoned rub with Chicken Spice creates a delicious, flavorful crust on grilled chicken.

In a Marinade: Mix the spice with oil, lemon juice, vinegar, or yogurt to create a wet marinade for chicken kebabs or tandoori-style dishes.

For Pan-Frying: Dust chicken fillets or strips with the spice before frying for a quick and tasty meal.

General Guideline: The packaging suggests using 1 tablespoon (15ml) of spice for every 500g of chicken.
